Cammax, one of the UK’s leading self-service solution providers, are delighted to announce the brand-new expansion of their Castleford-based HQ.
To celebrate the company’s recent growth and success, Cammax embarked on an ambitious building programme in January 2020 to double the firm’s current office size from 2,500 square feet to 5,000 square feet, marking a significant upgrade on the company’s existing space which already includes 30,000 square feet of factory area.
After consulting with locally-based office specialists Richardson’s, it was decided that a whole extra floor would be added to the existing facility to house the growing team of Cammax software developers.
As well as office space, provisions were put in place for the creation of an additional boardroom, an additional kitchen/ breakout room and software testing suite, which will help streamline software operations moving forward.
In line with a vision to create a modern and enterprising space fit for leading technology solutions firm, Cammax have also created a state-of-the-art chill room which features contemporary and comfy sofas, an X Box games console, as well as a snooker/ pool table (designed in branded Cammax blue) as the management team strive to create a zone for employees that will promote creativity and innovation.
As well as the upgrades, the existing downstairs offices have been revitalised and refurbished with new furniture installed to match the smart new office fixtures that have been fitted elsewhere.
Julian Rooney, MD at Cammax said: “We are tremendously excited about this expansion and update. Additional space is needed to accommodate our growing staff and client base and this vibrant new refurbishment will allows us to continually provide exemplary software development services to our existing clients as well as many more companies who are seeking our technological solutions.
“The new expansion project gives us a great new collaborative space for our staff to enjoy and the Cammax team are absolutely delighted with our makeover and see it as a sign of the company’s tremendous confidence in the post Covid-19 future!”
