Transport Ticketing Global (TTG) is not your typical conference; it’s a global convergence of minds shaping the future of Smart ticketing and mobility. Drawing participants from 71 countries, TTG stands as the world’s largest transport forum, offering a unique platform for networking with decision-makers and specialists from transport operators, authorities, industry bodies, and technology providers.
The event’s 80+ stand exhibition transforms Olympia London into a bustling hub of innovation, where cutting-edge solutions and advancements in Smart ticketing are unveiled. As the anticipation builds ahead of this huge gathering, TTG serves not just as a meeting ground but as a catalyst for industry-wide progress, offering diverse perspectives, insights, and solutions that transcend geographical boundaries.
With TTG, the future of Smart ticketing is not just discussed but actively shaped by the global community!
TTG 2024 is widely regarded as the ultimate place to explore the latest Smart ticketing developments and this year’s conference agenda is set to delve into several critical themes that capture the current pulse of the industry.
During the two-day expo the spotlight will focus on how supplier and operators can come together to elevate the overall ticketing experience for passengers, acknowledging the role of technology in enhancing convenience and accessibility. Other discussions will centre on the challenges of implementing a nationwide ticketing scheme and how open data and shared services can create a win-win situation for both operators and travellers in a competitive market.
Additionally, a forward-looking perspective will be provided through discussions on the future of transport ticketing. What can we expect in the years to come, and how can the industry adapt to meet the evolving needs of both operators and passengers? These are questions that will be explored in depth during TTG 2024.
As we approach the 15th edition of TTG, the event program promises unmissable insights from leaders and specialists who have been at the forefront of pioneering ticketing projects globally. The sessions will cover a diverse range of topics, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the world of Smart ticketing.
Among the presentation highlights, we’re particularly excited about a talk on day one by Joe Ellard, Senior Data Analyst at Rail Delivery Group (RDG) and Gareth Marsh, Digital Fraud Manager at Transport for Wales who will explore the Barcode Ticketing Rollout across the UK Rail Network.
Day two will also feature plenty other engaging panel discussions and talks, including a highly-anticipated session by Mark Thomas of Transdev on the importance of customer-centric ticketing.
With the countdown to TTG 2024 well underway we extend a warm invitation to all attendees to visit our stand (G30) where we will be unveiling our latest Smart ticketing systems and solutions.
At the heart of our showcase is the award-nominated Smart Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) for Rail, a revolutionary ticketing solution developed to bring the flexibility and pricing consistency of online ticket purchasing directly to the station. Unlike static, pre-programmed ticketing machines, the Smart Rail TVM acts as a dynamic shop window, empowering train operating companies to present their complete product range. This ensures passengers have diverse choices, including advance, off-peak, and walk-on rail tickets.
What sets our Smart Rail TVM apart is its integration with SilverRail’s Ticket Issuing System (SilverCore), ensuring pricing consistency that mirrors the cost-effective nature of online purchases. Passengers can now purchase tickets up to 90 days in advance and are always presented with the most economical fare option, fostering transparency and trust in the ticketing process.
Moreover, our cutting-edge Smart TVM for Rail offers the option of a Customer Information Screen (CIS) with Real-Time Information. This secondary screen module, located on top of the main ticketing screen, helps passengers stay informed about the next available train and provides updates on any delays or cancellations. This real-time information is particularly valuable at smaller train stations where such details might not be readily available.
During the two-day conference our expert team will also be available at our booth to discuss recent project implementations and answer all your Smart ticketing queries.
This year holds extra significance for Cammax as we are honoured to be nominated for the prestigious Ticketing Technology of the Year award organised by Transport Ticketing Global Awards.
This recognition is testament to our innovative work with SilverRail and East Midlands Railway in developing and launching the UK’s first Smart Rail Ticketing Kiosk, also known as the Smart Rail TVM.
The winner will be revealed on the evening of March 5th at the Royal Garden Hotel, a stone’s throw from Kensington Palace & Gardens. We eagerly await the results!
Over the years, TTG has proven to be a huge event for Cammax and instrumental in shaping our trajectory, influencing our strategies, and fostering connections that drive innovation.
In the video below, our MD Julian Rooney delves into the importance of the conference, highlighting how TTG serves as a pulse-check for the industry and offers a unique lens through which to view emerging trends and collaborative opportunities.
