Following the success of last year’s event, Cammax are delighted to announce that we will once again be returning to exhibit our cutting- edge range of smart ticketing solutions at Transport Ticketing Global (TTG) 2020.
The event, which is set to take place at London’s Olympia venue between 28th-29th 2020, is the world’s biggest exhibition for smart ticketing and mobility, bringing together over 1,200 transport professionals from over 60 countries. Through in-depth case studies from leading operators, technical workshops, engaging presentations, and panel discussions, TTG serves as the ultimate platform for transport professionals to set the industry agenda.
With passenger transport undergoing an exciting revolution, travellers increasingly expect a frictionless and interconnected multimodal experience and one of the key themes for the 2020 edition of TTG will centre on how transport operators can adapt and deliver this.
As leading transport ticketing solution providers- and proponents of Mobility as a service (Maas)-the Cammax team will be on hand to demonstrate how frictionless and interconnected travel can be achieved. We will specifically be discussing successful initiatives we have undertaken this year, such as the roll out of state-of-the art iPoint smart ticket vending machines as part of Bristol City Council’s pioneering new MetroBus scheme.
The Cammax iPoint machines offer a range of services for bus passengers, whether they are getting on a MetroBus or not. This kiosk solution enables passengers to purchase tickets for Bristol’s MetroBus transport service as well as topping up their smart cards. The iPoints also serve as an emergency point and relay real-time bus information.
In line with new passenger demands as we head towards a cashless society, the Cammax iPoints enable customers to buy tickets using contactless or chip & pin bank cards. Customers can also buy tickets from First’s mTicket app, and registered Travelwest smartcard users can buy tickets from the Travelwest website and load them onto their smartcard at an iPoint before using it on the bus.
Tests have shown passengers simply tapping an electronic ticket board a bus up to five times faster than when people each buy a ticket from the driver.
As well as offering expert advice and insight on how transport operators and stakeholders can achieve an efficient and sustainable multimodal transport experience, new for 2020 we will also be showcasing a brand new type of smart ticketing dispensing kiosk, as well as a new slimline design of our existing outdoor smart ticketing machine. We believe that these new self-service solutions will bridge existing gaps found in various segments of the smart travel marketplace which are currently unfulfilled by other suppliers.
Returning for its 12th edition, TTG 2020 promises to be the biggest event of its kind and you can find the friendly Cammax team over on stand B5 where we will be happy to answer all your smart ticketing-related questions and queries.
