Cammax worked closely with the Council to design and supply self-service kiosk technology to complement their ‘Community Hub’ program which is seeing the consolidation of customer service centres and libraries (and in some instances leisure centres) into one physical location.
The solution provides self service payments for major funds and miscellaneous income via cash, card or cheque and integrates seamlessly with the Council’s existing payment authorisation and reconciliation systems (Capita Smart Gateway, Capita AXIS).
The kiosks also make use of some of the Council’s existing online services (such as e-forms for reporting, applying and status checking) enabling East Riding to “re-purpose” these services for a face to face environment.
Since the delivery of the first council payment kiosk in January 2014, Cammax have deployed a further six kiosks at different locations within the Council.
